Water Damage and Mold in San Mateo
This San Mateo homeowner hired a different company to dry their condo unit when their washing machine failed.
The company removed the wet carpet and used dehumidifiers and fans to dry everything out, however, they did not remove the baseboards. The All Action Water Damage Team was called in after the previous company’s technician told the homeowner that they were not licensed to cut or remove any baseboards.
Upon inspection, I noticed that the wall was still wet underneath the baseboards and now mold had started to grow because of the time that had passed.
Unfortunately, the homeowner had to pay triple the cost due to the extra damage which could have been avoided by hiring a reputable
licensed contractor from the moment water damage was discovered.
